- Select an organized and diligent “project manager” individual to oversee the details of the move and leave the rest to the moving specialist.
- Plan. Plan. Plan. Create a floor plan indicating where workstations, printers, etc. will be placed by the moving specialists. It’s a good opportunity to redesign the office, maximize the space, improve productivity, and create the ideal work environment.
- A move after office hours or on weekends minimizes disruption to the business.
- Notify property managers about the move in advance in order to allow moving specialists to have access to the building or reserve elevators.
